Frank Pallone, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 6th district, has taken to social media to express his concerns about the current political climate and policy decisions. His recent posts on March 4 and 5, 2025, address issues related to government operations and healthcare funding.

On March 4, Pallone highlighted the impending government shutdown due to what he describes as a lack of governance by Republicans. He stated: "And in 11 days, the government shuts down because Republicans refuse to govern. They control the House, Senate & White House—yet have no plan to keep the lights on."

Later that evening, Pallone attended a joint session where he aimed to counter President Trump's statements. He remarked: "I’m attending tonight's #JointSession to push back. When Trump gaslights the country, I want the public to know: the facts are on our side. Democrats won’t let him get away with it."

In another post dated March 5, Pallone criticized Congressional Republicans for their budgetary decisions affecting Medicaid funding. He shared a personal story from one of his constituents affected by these cuts: "Congressional Republicans are cutting Medicaid to fund billionaire tax breaks! For my constituent Dani Zalepka, these cuts would be devastating. Her mother put it plainly: 'It would take away my daughter’s life.' Read this powerful @njdotcom story and help spread the word.…"
