Rep. Frank Pallone, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 6th district, recently took to social media to express his views on various political issues. Pallone, who has been in office since 1988 and holds a law degree from Rutgers University-Camden, shared his opinions through a series of tweets.

On March 6, 2025, Rep. Pallone tweeted about budgetary concerns regarding healthcare programs under Republican proposals. He stated, "The numbers don’t lie, but Trump does. Republicans can't hit their trillion-dollar budget cuts without gutting Medicare or Medicaid—no matter what Trump says." Pallone emphasized that achieving these cuts would result in significant reductions to healthcare services for seniors, people with disabilities, and children.

Later that day, he addressed taxpayer-funded salaries for certain engineers linked to Elon Musk's projects. In his tweet at 18:11 UTC, he remarked on the salaries being paid out of public funds: "Musk’s DOGE minions are making six-figure taxpayer-funded salaries." He questioned the efficiency of such spending when one engineer earns $195,200 and another $167,000 while working on dismantling organizations like NIH and USAID.

In another post made at 18:50 UTC on the same day, Pallone criticized Republican plans for Medicaid cuts. He warned of severe consequences if these plans were realized: "Republicans are repeatedly lying about the size and impact of the Medicaid cuts they're plotting." According to him, millions could lose healthcare access, leading to hospital closures and rising prices.
